Warsaw Games Week is a Games Fair organized for the first time in 2015. The success of the first edition translated into the organization of further fairs.
Warsaw Games Week – it all started
The first Games Fair organized in Warsaw turned out to be a total success. The number of visitors was considerable, and the exhibitors were the stars of the industry. There was also a place for independent creators who could boast of unusual ideas and live check the reactions of fans. The event was so warmly received among gamers that wgw was often referred to as “African Gamescom”.

The announcement of Warsaw Games Week as a video games fair was not an exaggeration. The EXPO hall where the event took place ensured the global quality of the event. Exhibitors had plenty of space to roam their equipment, and wide corridors allowed participants to move freely and without compression.
Everything was divided into zones that made it easy to recognize the location of the prepared attractions – each of them was very characteristic, so there were rarely mistakes among the participants. In addition to the typical exhibition stands with games, wgw also prepared e-sports competitions, cosplay competitions, as well as places where you can test technologically advanced devices.
What were the highlights of Warsaw Games Week?

Video games are becoming an increasingly popular form of entertainment. It is even mentioned that they have surpassed Hollywood and the reading industry. An event like WGW is a chance to get to know the community and share experiences that can't always be expressed online. It is not surprising that bookmakers so actively make bets on esports, after all, the matches of the best e-sports teams are watched by the whole world, just like football.
